SALE! Dishwasher Open Door Alert!
The Dishwasher Open Door Alert attaches to the front of your dishwasher door.  When the door is lowered, the alert will emit a single chirp alerting you that the Dishwasher Open Door Alert is functioning.  After 45 seconds, it will begin emitting a series of 3 chirps every 6 seconds until the door is closed alerting you that the dishwasher door is open! When the dishwasher door is closed, the Dishwasher Open Door Alert will turn off and be silent! Battery: Uses 9 volt battery, included!
Installing / replacing battery: Hold the Dishwasher Open Door Alert so that the taller end is vertical and the speaker hole on the shorter end is at the bottom. There is a label on the front of the Dishwasher Open Door Alert. The battery door is located just above the label. Push the grooves in and up to release it.  Snap the 9-volt battery into the clips, push in place and snap the battery door back in place.  Mounting: Please read this entire section before installation.  Decide where you would like to locate the Dishwasher Open Door Alert: either directly beneath the dishwasher control panel or closer to the bottom above the door hinge.  Install the battery first.  It is suggested that you hold the Dishwasher Open Door Alert in place and lower the door to test for the alert sound before mounting the Dishwasher Open Door Alert. Be sure the Dishwasher Open Door Alert is vertical with the battery compartment at the top front.  On the back of the Dishwasher Open Door Alert, there are 2 strips of 3M command tape.  The tab of the tape will be towards the left when viewed from the back.  Starting at the right-hand side of the strip, gently peel off the shiny top protective layer.  Do this on both strips and place in your desired location.  You may require assistance in positioning it straight.  The tape adheres immediately so be certain your positioning is accurate.  If you should wish to remove the Dishwasher Open Door Alert, pull the tabs to release the tape.  To re-secure it, purchase additional strips of the 3M Command tape 3-pound version from your favorite store.  Warranty: The Dishwasher Open Door Alert is warranted against failure under normal use for 90 days. after date of purchase.  The warranty will be void if the electronics inside the Dishwasher Open Door Alert have been tampered with.  Note: The Dishwasher Open Door Alert is not waterproof.  For warranty service, call 914-924-2925
